Idea:

Create a booth that gives the user the feeling of singing in the shower. The target was to accent the Flipside showerhead which resembles an old style microphone. The unit needed to be shippable to New York for a store front.

Reality:

The display began with several design iterations as several design factors were constantly changing including size and finish. With the unit shipping complete a steel frame was constructed to stand up to the travel. The exterior was finished off with painted MDF panels while the interior was fully tiled to replicate that of an actual shower. Custom light boxes and a touch screen / camera were embedded into the interior of the display. Users were able to enter the booth and record a video which would then be uploaded directly to YouTube.
